Summer Fun In Leander TX

As I sit down to write this, I listen to two teenage children ask about what we are going to do for fun tomorrow. This is the question my husband and I receive daily. In the dog days of summer, school is far from the minds of my children (school is NEVER far from my mind) and the constant entertainment of the kids can  be a burdensome affair. Fortunately, we chose to live in an area of the Austin metro that is teeming with fun, educational and active things to do.

Leander, TX is northwest of Austin proper and is a beautiful hamlet that gives the ease of the city and the serenity of the country. We are never far from a beautiful hike, Lake Travis, farms (which means the farmers market!!), horseback riding, movies, live music and culture. As one of the fastest growing areas in the Austin metro, Leander has much to offer any new resident. With a top rated school district, beautiful homes both new builds and existing and wonderful neighbors, Leander is an excellent place to put down roots. I did :)

To answer my children's question about what to do tomorrow...the sky is the limit.
