Its A Team Effort

Buying a home is the biggest, scariest thing the first time you do it. Heck, it can be scary the 2nd and 3rd time!! There are so many choices out there, from lenders to agents, houses to condos. Where do you start?!

When my husband and I bought our first home we had no clue what we were doing. We started with an online lender, and went to see houses on our own. Little did we know that online lender would fall through at the last minute and trying to get a deal worked out on our own cost us months of just waiting around. You need a team in your corner from the get go!

It doesnt matter if you find an agent or a lender first. The most important thing to find is people who will sit down with you, look you in the eye and listen to your needs. A good agent isn't trying to make money off of you- they want to really help you in your journey. I say journey because that's exactly what it is. You may need help with credit issues, down payment, or navigating all the legal mumbo jumbo that comes with contracts and negotiating. It's a journey.

Buying a home is a team effort, your agent and lender will work together and with you to get you into that perfect home! It can feel a little crazy, and like it takes forever- but just sit back relax, and enjoy the process of becoming a homeowner. It is worth it!
