One of the many great things about living in Austin are all the festivals!  Soonish the weather will be coolish and it will be time to start enjoying being out during the day again!  Whether you prefer family friendly fests or keeping things to an adult play date only, there are so many options available in the coming months!  These are great for both those new to Austin as well as those who have been here for years!

Where - E 6th Street between Brazos Street and I-35

What - live music performances, classic carnival feel with street magicians, dance performances and a petting zoo. festival also offers a wide selection of food options including both traditional fair food as well as healthy options.  There are also hundreds of artisan craft vendors!

What - Create beautiful murals on the pavement at Centennial Plaza, or watch as artists bring their visions to life with chalk pastels. The outdoor event also features live music and entertainment, street performers, interactive drumming and a variety of fun activities for kids.
