Summer is just around the corner, are you ready? Camps can be a small fortune but if you get a little creative you can make your own adventures for a fraction of the cost. Remember, kids just want to be with there parents. They don’t care what it is they are doing.   I remember last year my girls waking up every morning saying,”What are we doing fun today?”. Without a plan your Summer will seem more like a job than a break. These are a few ideas to keep the kiddos busy this summer.

Take a hike with a picnic.

Rent a kayak or paddle board on Town lake.

Go on bike ride.

Ride the bus down town.

Go see some live music.

Kiddie movies at the Alamo Draft House.

Go swimming.

Go to the library.

Go to the Zoo.

Check out the free fun in Austin website. They list daily free events.

Go Visit the Austin Aquarium.

Go visit the Wildflower center

With a little creativity you can make your summer one to remember.
