Exercise Can Be Part Of Every Day Routines

Many people fail to develop an exercise routine because they feel that they have to put a lot of time and money to get started.  I love to exercise and it is an important part of my life.  Having said that, I do not have an expensive gym membership, I do not join any dance or exercise classes, I do not pay for expensive competitions and I do not have a fit bit.  My exercise routine is found in every day routines and in very common places. My motto is “just keep moving”.  I am the mother of two active boys.  My oldest is almost 17 and my youngest just turned 8.  When I go swimming in the pool or the lake with my kids, I constantly move in the water. I have developed a series of arm and leg work outs that I do as my kids and nephews play in the water.   While my boys are at practice for their different sports, I take advantage of the time to walk/run laps.  We go on walks, ride our bikes, jump on the trampoline, play tennis, soccer, basketball or football.  I try to be active while they are being active.  On the evenings that we have time to sit down and watch a show on TV, I work out on a smallX-ISER.  It is a portable stepper machine that is very quiet and I can jump on that for an hour while we watch TV as a family.  I also combine weight training, squats and abdominal training in the routine.   Many people feel that they do not have time in their day to exercise.  The truth is everyone has moments in their day to exercise.  It is important to make the most of every opportunity that we have to keep moving.  We will all be in better health if we just try adding some motion to everything that we do.
