Real Estate…not at all what I expected…I became a realtor because I needed to do ANYTHING I could to get out of the job situation I was in. I was miserable every single day and knew that
Austins Barton Creek Greenbelt
The Barton Springs Greenbelt is absolutely one of my favorite things about Living in the great city of Austin, Texas. With something fun for everyone including swimming, hiking, climbing, biking, dog walking, and so much more, it's obvious that the Greenbelt played a big role in naming Austin the best city to live in 2016.
Recently I had the pleasure of branching out from my normal activities of swimming and hiking with my pups and got to experience something exhilarating, climbing. Just when I thought the Greenbelt could not get any better I found my new hobby in climbing the cliffs at Gus Fruh. Just one of the many named cliffs to climb, Gus Fruh is located about 1.2 miles from the famous Tacodeli, where Friends and I enjoy breakfast tacos before a long fun filled day at the Greenbelt. I'm ecstatic to learn more knowledge of climbing and I think everyone that can, should give it a try at least once.
The Greenbelt does not have restrooms, trash cans, or potable water so please plan accordingly. Make sure to pick up your pets waste and all trash and dispose at the proper location. Also make sure to bring plenty of drinking water to stay hydrated in the magnifying Texas sun! We must all be accountable to make sure the Greenbelt is beautiful and clean for generations to come. HAVE FUN!!!!
