What is the best time of year to purchase a home?   it is when you are ready.  In my opinion there is no magic time of year to buy a home that will make or save you thousands of dollars.  The time to buy is when you are most comfortable and have everything in place.  Now with that said there are certain times of the year where builders will be more willing to negotiate more openly than other times of the year based on their yearly projections.  Thinking of buying during the fall/winter?  Timing and having a knowledgable real estate agent at your side will certainly help your chances of capitalizing on your investment.
