The 2018 New Home Housing Forecast is around 17,000 homes. This is a slight rise from 2017. This is an anticipated estimate from the demand of buyers moving to the area. Another interesting topic is the increase of rent/ month. With this increase in rent the market is almost forcing renters to position themselves to purchase a home as the price per month is about the same. Along with the number of homes built increasing so will the price of the homes. Estimates are an average of 7% which is great for current homeowners but makes it more difficult for buyers.
